Early interpretation of liver function tests (LFTs) can result in timely management and it may decrease the incidence complications both mother foetus. Normal LFTs don't always imply a normal liver. A number drawbacks occur when interpreting basic blood LFTs. Abnormal Liver Function Tests pregnancy must be properly interpreted to avoid diagnostic pitfalls. we did routine testing 498 asymptomatic antenatal mothers third trimester. Ninety-seven percentage had bilirubin while 93 % enzyme levels. The other abnormal values were also within 1 1.5 above normal. No any symptoms. Only two patients gallstones whose Two tattoo marks HbSAg positive. All an uneventful progress towards delivery. Cross consultation done on few cases with non-contributory. Pregnancy-related disorders are most common reason for unusual during pregnancy, especially We omitted such support our hypotheses avoiding undue testing. prevalent is pre-eclampsia-related disorder. This first study huge sample size. suggest not needed otherwise healthy mothers.
